Each week NFL Network and NFL.com Fantasy Football Editor Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (October 30th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer as Week 9 kicks off Thursday in Miami with the Dolphins hosting the Bengals.

What wide receiver has exceeded your expectations from a fantasy perspective the first half of the season? “I think the biggest surprise at the wide receiver position has been Josh Gordon. If you look at Josh Gordon’s per game fantasy point average he’s right there in the top five. He’s better than most wide receivers out there. He missed the first two games remember because of that suspension. Ever since he’s come back he’s just been unbelievable.”

If available on the waiver wire is Andre Ellington worth grabbing ever with the Cardinals on bye this week? “I would think if you need a running back sure because, to be quite honest with you, he’s not going to be around after this week. Even though they have a bye week, how hard is it to find good running backs now? So, Ellington is a guy who the Cardinals want to get more touches. I don’t think he’s going to be a featured back. He’s not going to turn into Adrian Peterson. The Cardinals are going to continue to use Rashard Mendenhall if he’s healthy but Ellington’s proven to be the better back, the more explosive back.”

Andrew Luck or Terrelle Pryor this week? “Typically, this would be an easy one. I am going to go here with Terrelle Pryor and this is why: the Philadelphia Eagles defense has been awful against the pass this season and we all know what TP can do with his feet. The guy is phenomenal. Andrew Luck is still a starter in fantasy there’s no question about that but this week is not a good matchup playing in Houston against the Texans. Luck is better at home than he is on the road. He doesn’t have Reggie Wayne, of course. TP, I believe, will score more fantasy points than Andrew Luck this week.”

There’s a very good chance Percy Harvin plays this week for the Seahawks. Is he worth plugging into right away? “Keep in mind if Percy Harvin does come back we don’t know if he’s going to be limited or see a full compliment of snaps so he’s a bit of a risk-reward play and don’t forget the Buccaneers still have Darrelle Revis there and if they do as they say they’re going to do and start using Revis in man coverage every Seahawks receiver comes with a little bit of risk.”
