Ralph Frias grew up a big kid with an even bigger dream in eastern Arizona. Wednesday the Safford High School senior will sign his football letter of intent with Arizona State to officially mark the next chapter in his academic and football life.
“It’s an honor,” Frias said to Sports360AZ.com. “[I’m] looking forward to playing football for my dream school. It’s a blessing.”

Frias said he fell in love with the school and his future teammates and enjoyed meeting his future head coach Herm Edwards during his recent official visit to the university.
“He’s just a very energetic guy, ready to knock some heads around,” Frias explained. “I look forward to that. Very awesome dude.”

The Sun Devils were the first Power 5 school to offer the massive 6-foot-7, 295-pound three-star prospect who committed in late October.
