As a junior, Woods averaged 17.7 points and 5.2 assists per game.
At Apollo, Woods averaged 27 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game as a senior, helping a strong senior class lead the Hawks to the state title game. He left Apollo as a three year-starter.
