Former AZ Gatorade Player of Year Starting Big Man Clinic

Arizona Sports News online

In 2008, Taylor Rohde was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Arizona after being a four year standout on varsity for Pinnacle High School. After a college career that began at Arizona State and concluded at the University of Alaska-Anchorage being named the Division II National Player of the Year, Rohde has spent his last five years playing professionally overseas. He played in Germany, the Czech Republic and Romania.

Rohde hasn’t retired from the game of basketball but is back in Arizona and looking into the next stage of his life which includes giving back to post players in the valley and state. Rohde’s Post Clinic begins Sunday, June 26th at North Canyon High School which will focus on fundamentals for the big men of the game.

Rohde sat down with me to discuss his experiences overseas since we saw him here last in the states both on and off the court and what his focuses are for his upcoming clinics.
