Larry Centers started his NFL career as a member of the-then Phoenix Cardinals back in 1990.
Centers – like the team – made the switch in 1994 and became an Arizona Cardinal.
Centers would have nine solid years at the kickoff returner/fullback positions before moving on to the Redskins, the Bills and the Patriots before he decided to hang up his helmet for good.
Next Friday night, Centers will represent the Cardinals at the 2013 NFL Draft and will make the announcement of the team’s second round selection.
Centers joins 31 other NFL alumni who will represent their former teams at Radio City Music Hall. Among the former players in attendance will be six Pro Football Hall of Famers, including three from the Class of 2013.
The 2013 NFL Draft kicks off next Thursday night at 8 pm EST with the first round of picks. The second and third round of selections will take place on Friday, April 26 at 6:30 pm EST. Rounds 4-7 will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 12 pm EST.
The Cardinals have a total of seven picks in the draft.
