Saturday afternoon, the ninth ranked Arizona State Sun Devils take on the tenth ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish from Sun Devil Stadium in what will be one of the biggest games in Tempe this season. A small story within the story is the fact that ASU will have a new look on the field. In an effort to honor the history of copper mining in this state, the Sun Devils will be wearing Copper and Grey uniforms in which they call, their “Desert Fuel” look.
It is one thing to see the uniforms worn by the players on game day, but is another to see all the work that goes into getting them ready. The ASU Football equipment staff gave us a behind the scenes look at the work that goes into preparing the uniforms and a preview of how they will look in their lockers once the players arrive on Saturday.
