GCU looking to add Indiana Hoosiers for 2015 schedule

Arizona Sports News online

Basketball powers Indiana and Kentucky are on the tentative schedule for GCU next season.
The first campaign under Dan Majerle is not over for Grand Canyon even though the Lopes regular season schedule wrapped up over the weekend.
GCU is not eligible to participate in the Western Athletic Conference Tourney in Las Vegas later this week. They also aren’t allowed to play in the NCAA and N.I.T. brackets come out this Sunday.
They CAN play in two postseason tourneys that are filled out this Sunday night. The CBI(16 teams) or the CIT(32 teams). It’s possible that GCU would host games, but would have to play them in Antelope Gym on the GCU campus. The on campus arena is already starting to undergo construction on an expansion project.
The ‘Lopes have Harvard, New Mexico, and Tulsa on their home schedule next year. Harvard just won the Ivy League title and is heading to the NCAA Tourney for the third straight season.
GCU has a signed contract to play at Kentucky and are working out the details to play at Indiana next season.
