Signing Day for the 2019 class may be less than a week away but it’s a local 2020 quarterback that made his commitment on Wednesday.

As a junior, Plummer threw for 3,229 yards, 25 youchdowns and 15 interceptions. He rushed for an addition 515 yards.
“Nice get for Arizona to start of their in-state 2020 classl,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said. “Plummer is big, thick, strong-armed pocket passer. But he also has some moxie to him, does a nice job of improvising when things break down.”
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback was also offered by Colorado, North Texas, Oregon State, Oklahoma State and Duke.
Kevin Sumlin and his staff have already made a jump on the in-state recruiting class for 2020. In the 2019 class, they have signed Marana offensive tackle Jordan Morgan and Desert Vista punter Kyle Ostendorp.
Will’s older brother Jack is currently a quarterback on the Purdue Boilermakers.
