Diamondbacks star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt received good news on his injured right elbow that forced him to leave the team earlier this week. “There’s no structural damage, just some inflammation in there so, it’s what the training staff thought and what I was hoping for so it’s all good news.”
Goldschmidt flew back to Phoenix for an MRI exam before Monday nights road game at Los Angeles. He is expected to be back in the lineup for Wednesday nights game against the Dodgers.
