It’s always a good day in Arizona when the Cardinals beat Dallas. Even if the crowd was pro-Dallas, those that were there to support the Cardinals went home very happy!!
Never mind that Dallas head coach Jason Garrett made a boneheaded move by taking a timeout just as his kicker was about to win the game at the end of regulation.
Larry Fitzgerald’s dad had the line of the day, saying his son was the second best player from Pittsburgh on the field today(pretty funny stuff).
Ken WHisenhunt’s defense kept them in the game early and the offense woke up in the second half just in time to win it.
When you win four of five, things are going right, the team is growing up in certain areas right before your eyes. It’s encouraging to see players like wide receiver Andre Roberts moving forward. Kevin Kolb was beat most of the game, but hung in there and made plays in the fourth quarter and down the stretch to give his team the victory.
It was a good day to be a Cardinal fan.
The Fiesta Bowl came out with a great match-up for this year’s game. Heisman Trophy candidate Andrew Luck and Stanford taking on Oklahoma State. For those who felt that Oklahoma State should’ve been in the national title game, you are wrong, they lost to Iowa State, a team that finished the season 3-6 in the Big 12.
Oklahoma State has a tremendous team and a terrific coach in Mike Gundy, it will be one of the better bowl games this year.
The same cannot be said for the Insight Bowl, Oklahoma and Iowa, are two big time programs for sure, but the Sooners are coming to the Valley of the Sun for the fourth time in the last six years. They have seen enough of Arizona, and quite frankly, I’ve seen enough of them.
