Hamilton v Mtn. Pointe, Big Boy Football this Friday

We have a heavyweight matchup this coming Friday night at Mountain Pointe High School. The Pride host defending State Champion Hamilton, in a rematch of last years title game.

If your a fan of football, any football, then you should find your way to this game. Both teams are undefeated and each have several players who will go on to play in college.

To say that there is a bit of a rivalry would be shortchanging the two schools. I’ve heard it from both fan bases, “Hamilton recruits”, “Mountain Pointe buses in players from Maricopa and Casa Grande”…it’s actually kind of amusing….Both sides STRONGLY believe that they are right.

I have no dog in the fight. I like dealing with both coaches. This game will probably be replayed when we get to the state title game in December. So put it on your “to do” list. You won’t regret it.
