Following a 28-27 loss against USC (1-0), ASU (0-1) is set to play its home opener against Cal (0-0) this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Cal didn’t play its opener last week after a defensive lineman tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the rest of the D-line to quarantine for 14 days. It is still unclear whether or not Cal will be able to play this Saturday, but both teams are still preparing to compete.

“They [Cal] will be excited about playing,” Edwards said in his media session on Monday. “We have to be excited about another opportunity to play, this will actually be the first time we play at home.”
ASU is allowing some family members of the coaching staff and players to attend in the stadium.
