The first night of the 3rd Annual PrimeTime presented by Monarch Sports was Friday night and has some of the best basketball players Arizona has to offer on display. I caught the action Friday, Ed “Crusher” Cole is out there Saturday and will have great content on these great players coming very soon throughout the summer.
A couple things that could not wait to be posted were some of the plays made by two elite 2014 basketball prospects that faced off on Friday night from Pinnacle‘s Dorian Pickens and Mountain View‘s Payton Dastrup.
In the first half, Pickens showed by you should not get in his way when he drives the lane as seen in the top video above.
In the second half, Dastrup started and finished a give and go with authority seen in the second video above.
That was just a small sample size of the talent that was on display. If you have an opportunity to see this great 2014 basketball talent in Arizona between now and February when their high school careers come to an end, I highly suggest you take advantage.
