Higley has one of the most decorated and experienced quarterbacks in the state in Mason Crossland. The constant for the Knights may not be suiting up when Higley hits the field for their second round game next week. Crossland took a hit while running for a 1st down in the Knights’ opening round game against St. Mary’s. He needed to be helped off the field. While his status remains uncertain, the Knights move on to the second round after a dominant 44-0 win against St. Mary’s, with running back Draysen Hall accumulating over 300 total yards and four touchdowns. The Knights host Marana in the second round of the 4A playoffs.
