The Dallas bandwagon in Arizona is littered with broken ankles tonight. Fans jumping off right and left as the Cardinals embarrassed the Cowboys 38-10 in Little D.
Zeke Elliott fumbled the football twice, as part of four turnovers that resulted in 24 points for the Cardinals. Andy Dalton, filling in for the injured Dak Prescott, did very little as the Cardinals defense battered and bruised him all night long.
For the Cardinals, it was the second week in a row where they put a beat down on an inferior opponent, led by safety Budda Baker, who forced a fumble, had an interception, and finished with 7 tackles.
Kliff Kingsbury’s offense was balanced on the night, running for 261 yards, and passing for 188. Kenyon Drake averaged over 8 yards per carry and had two scores, including a 69-yard touchdown late in the game where the Dallas defense just laid down.
Christian Kirk found the end zone twice. It was a blowout victory where DeAndre Hopkins caught just two balls and didn’t find the end zone. It was a night where Kyler Murray was just 9-24 through the air, but he rolled up 74 yards on the ground on 10 carries.
With the victory, the Cardinals move to 4-2. They will have to put the win behind them pretty quickly because the undefeated Seattle Seahawks come to Arizona in a crucial NFC West showdown this Sunday.
