The Devils face Navy in The “Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl,” a totally ridiculous, confusing, cumbersome and unnecessary title for a game celebrating two mediocre teams. Nonetheless, we love ASU and Coach Graham has turned in a decent first season, going 7-5, and showing promise for development toward competing for a conference title in the future. Despite being the ONLY NCAA head coach to vote ASU in the top 25, Graham showed his team and the fans how he feels about the Sun Devils by voting them #20 in the AP coaches poll, and at ‘Out of Line’, we respect that.
Before Navy sails west to play the Sun Devils Dec 29th, they will finish the regular season vs Army this Saturday in the “City of Brotherly Love”, which is a title even more inappropriate than the “Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.” Lets face it, there’s nothing loving or brotherly about Philadelphia, but it does narrowly edge out Reno and Tucson in our official ranking of America’s worst cities. In unrelated news, The Arizona Wildcats will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in beautiful Albuquerque NM in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.
Boy it feels good to live in Phoenix.
Go Devils!
