ASU hoops lands sharpshooter from Seattle

Arizona State basketball swooped into the Pacific Northwest to land a verbal commitment from one of the top wings from the class of 2016.
Sam Cunliffe, 6-5 175, out of Seattle(Rainier Beach H.S.) gave head coach Bobby Hurley his first verbal for the ’16 class.
Cunliffe is an athletic wing with a good perimeter shot according to recruiting analysts I spoke with  in the Seattle area.

Cunliffe had visited Gonzaga on two separate occasions before making the decision to become a Sun Devil. One of the most respected voices in high school basketball recruiting was signing the praises of this commitment earlier on Wednesday
