Going into the start of 2011 there were many question marks surround the Arizona Diamondbacks roster. One of those questions was whether Ian Kennedy was good enough to be the opening day starter.
After going 21-4 with a 2.88 ERA and being considered a Cy Young award finalist, Kennedy answered that question.
It is Kennedy’s job once again to toe the rubber for the Diamondbacks on opening day and this time, he understands the excitement and nerves that come with kicking off the 162 game race.
