Two less than average football teams will get together tonight in Tucson, but it’s the “rivalry game” so we are supposed to care. It’s been an AWFUL year for both Arizona and ASU. The Sun Devils have lost 5 straight and can’t stop anybody. The Wildcats haven’t shown much life in two months. The last time they won a game was on September 17th. They’ve dropped 8 in a row. So the usual bets will be made, the jokes about both programs will be put on signs or online. All of which is nothing more than a minor distraction from the obvious. Both programs are not close to being considered a powerful national football program. The exact opposite of our mess is the beautiful story going on in Washington today. The Huskies and Washington State fighting it out for the Pac-12 North and the Huskies trying to move up in the College Football Playoff rankings. Now THAT is what we should demand to see from our college football programs here in Arizona on a semi-regular basis…
Arizona State offensive coordinator Chip Lindseys name has been circulating around the head coaching opening at Georgia State…
If Arizona wins today, could this be the final game for Kalen Ballage in a Sun Devil uniform? Fox Sports Brady Quinn speculated during last weeks Washington game that Ballage may consider the NFL Draft after this season…
