Mistakes Doom Arizona, Fall to Utes

Friday nights Pac-12 Conference opener for the Arizona Wildcats wasn’t a thing of beauty. #23 Utah would come to Tucson and block 2 field goals, return an interception for a touchdown and recover a Arizona fumble late in hanging on to beat the Wildcats 30-24.
Even with all of the miscues, it was a back and forth game. A game in which the Wildcats had more than a few chances to win.

Quarterback Brandon Dawkins was running for his life most of the night, scrambling for a team leading 90 yards and a rushing touchdown.
But this would be a game in which Dawkins and the rest of his teammates would just make too many mistakes. This pass by Dawkins pretty much sealed the deal for the Utes victory

Arizona drops to 0-1 in the Pac-12 South. They will have a bye week and then travel to Boulder on October 7th to take on the Colorado Buffaloes.
