Basha corner back Micah Harper has seen plenty of schools swing by this offseason.
The 5-foot-10, 175 defensive back currently holds offers from Syracuse, Air Force, Army, Yale, NAU, Dartmouth, Fordham, Montana State, Colgate, South Dakota State, Abilene Christian, Penn, Nevada, New Mexico State, Lehigh, Princeton, Wyoming, San Diego State, Tulane and UTEP.
He also said he has heard from multiple Power 5 programs and believes more offers could be coming his way.
“(Colleges) like my back-pedal and coming out of breaks,” Harper said. “They like how I read routes and bait the quarterback.”

With 126 tackles and three interceptions over two years, Harper has taken his game to the next level, running track for the first time, playing with the Elite 2020 7-on-7 team and spending a lot of time in the weigth room this offseason.
When watching his film, Harper plays a lot bigger than his size and wants to make plays against receivers, no matter the size or skill level.
“He’s a straight competitor, and that’s what you really want out of the corner position,” Basha head coach Chris McDonald said. “You want guys that can compete and aren’t afraid to be under the lights, who’s lining up across from them or worried about it. He’s definitely not and in fact, he wants to be put in a position where he can showcase what he can do against a premier receiver.”
Now, Harper is getting on campus to check out the programs recruiting him. He is on an official visit with Army this weekend and will visit Nevada next week. Along with those two programs, San Diego State also jumps out to Harper currently.
