Note from Sports360AZ CEO Brad Cesmat:Wednesday is College Football National Letter of Intent Day. We asked Saguaro defensive end/outside linebacker Seth Robinson, who’s signing with UNLV, to share his high school experiences on and off the field, as well as why the Rebels were the best fit for him to continue his academic and athletic career.

High school has been a crazy, long journey. I loved each moment because no matter how good or bad life was going, I learned from lessons and was able to grow.

Thanks to my family and the people I’m around, they have helped take the pressure off this journey. It’s always good to have outlets. Football is stressful, especially being a student, as well. Being able to see my family a lot and hanging out with my friends on weekends makes life a whole lot easier.

I love the bonds I have built and hopefully they last forever.

Senior year is just the next step into adulthood and I’m excited to see where it takes me starting next month as I transition into a new life far away my family and friends.

The reason I chose UNLV was because I love family and I feel as though there is a family bond among UNLV football. It is in the heart of the largest party city in the world, but that doesn’t stop the university from thriving.

I have built special relationships with special coaches and I’m starting to gain connections of other athletes who are committed for various sports and it’s like one big family. UNLV is also not far from Arizona where my immediate family resides in the east Valley. The easy four-and-a-half-hour drive from Phoenix to Vegas is great because I am not too far but I have enough distant to feel independent.

I am thankful for my family for helping me in this process of picking the school that is best suited for me and I can’t wait to be an official Rebel in January.

I’m excited to see what lies ahead for myself and my family in the coming years.
