NAU football has done a nice job over recent years finding in-state stars that have made instant impacts when they get to Flagstaff.
The Lumberjacks did that, and then some, in the 2021 class. On Wednesday, Chris Ball’s program signed 21 players, 15 from the state of Arizona, on their way to the top FCS program in the nation.
The class features some Arizona players who held Power 5 offers and provide immense versatility paired with former Washington State defensive lineman Cosmas Kwete and former record-setting Higley running back Draycen Hall, who recently served a two-year mission.
Coach Ball sat down with the Recruiting Roundup to discuss this class and what he thinks this group can accomplish the next few years.
