Lay the ball on the ground or throw it into the wrong jersey and you will go home a loser. Once again the Cardinals couldn’t figure out how to win at the ‘Stick. Four turnovers will get you beat every time. 32-20 was the final margin of loss for the hometown heroes.
The game wasn’t that close.
San Francisco crushed the Arizona defense with a 18 play, 89 yard drive that took 9:19 off the clock, the longest drive in the NFL this season…
The dull roar of benching Carson Palmer isn’t something that I buy into with a 3-3 record and Seattle coming to town Thursday. While his numbers aren’t anything to get excited about( 9 picks, 5 Tds) he still gives them the best chance to win games. That’s not to say Bruce Arians can continue to accept the mistakes. It’s still too early in my mind to insert Drew Stanton…
Those Nationwide Insurance commercials with the big baby are creepy. Just sayin…
Glad I don’t have to change that kid!
So the SEC honks are giving me a scenario where Alabama and Missouri are going to be undefeated going into the title game at Georgia Dome on Dec. 7th. and the winner will bring home the 8th straight title for the SEC. Missouri just lost starting quarterback James Franklin to a shoulder injury and the Tigers have
Florida and South Carolina on the schedule the next two weeks. Get back to me on that fearless prediction.
There are a half dozen Pac-12 teams that beat Mizzou on a neutral site…
Part of the ASU v Washington storyline this coming week will be former Sun Devil Grey Ruegamer. The two time Super Bowl winner is the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Huskies. Grey was a weekly guest with me last year and badly wanted to be part of the ASU athletic program but couldn’t find an opening. It would be nice to see him come back into the fold in Tempe at some point…
Sizzled and fizzled over the weekend..
Fizzled-Colorado football.
Arizona State put up 47 in the FIRST HALF on what was supposed to be a Pac-12 football program. I thought Sacramento State was better prepared for the Sun Devils than the Buffs.
Sizzled-Cardinal running back Andre Ellington
He had 56 yards rushing on just 7 carries(8.0 average)
He caught 5 balls for 36 yards.
Keep this one in your back pocket.
“Andre Ellington adds ten more pounds he’s Darren Sproles”. That was the quote that Bruce Arians gave the FOX broadcast crew before Sundays game…
