A year ago Arizona ran for 534 yards against Oregon State. Saturday afternoon on the Beavers home turf, the ground attack was once again the story. Sophomore running back J.J. Taylor rushed for a career high 284 yards and the Wildcats rang up 439 yards on tbe ground leading Arizona to a convincing 35-14 win at Oregon State.
Wilson’s teammate Gary Brightwell rushed for 113 yards and a score. Taylor would get into the endzone twice for the Wildcats who improved to 2-2 on the season. The victory over the Beavers marked the first win in Pac-12 play for head coach Kevin Sumlin. Khalil Tate threw two touchdown passes and would finish the day 9-17-152 yards.
Arizona will host USC next Saturday at 7:30pm
