The Pac-12 announced their 2014 schedule on Wednesday. All times for the games are to be determined and schedule is subject to change.
Both ASU and U of A will go through a tough stretch of games within conference play in the increasingly difficult Pac-12. Arizona State will face UCLA, play at USC, Stanford and at Washington in four consecutive games. Two weeks after Washington, the Sun Devils get a rematch vs. Notre Dame at Sun Devil Stadium. That stretch of games will be the barometer of how the season will pan out in conference play. Also for the second straight season, ASU will not have to face Oregon.
Arizona will go through a very similar stretch of four games which will test them in the middle of conference play. They will face Oregon in Eugene on a Thursday night game, followed by USC at home, at Washington State and at UCLA. Oddly enough, the only team the Wildcats beat in 2013 of those four was Oregon.
Arizona State will play eight teams that played in bowl games last season and Arizona will play seven. It is worth noting that the 2014 chapter of the Territorial Cup will be played on the friday after Thanksgiving.
