Patrick Peterson: “I Am An Arizona Cardinal”

All-Pro Patrick Peterson took to social media and broke his silence Wednesday morning surrounding the once white-hot rumors the Arizona Cardinals cornerback could be dealt before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

The 28-year-old Peterson, a first-round pick of the Cardinals in 2012 and 7-time Pro-Bowler, is a team captain and has been a team leader since arriving in Arizona.

Word first broke last week from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter that Peterson wanted out. Wednesday morning Schefter tweeted this update about the situation.

Teams linked to a potential Peterson deal included the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.

“Players hate losing, they have fionite careers,” NFL Network reporter/host Steve Wyche said to Sports360AZ.com earlier this week regarding Peterson’s situation. “Patrick Peterson has only tasted success a few times since he’s been in Arizona.
