Let the accolades and awards continue to flow for Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson.
On Tuesday, Peterson was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. On Wednesday, it went up a notch, as Peterson was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month.
In November, Peterson returned two punts for touchdowns against the Rams. The first was a 99-yarder in overtime in Week Nine and the second came this past Sunday in St. Louis, Mo., which was an 80-yarder.
Peterson has four punt returns for touchdown this season, which ties an NFL single-season record.
Peterson is the only rookie this season to be selected as Player of the Month. He is the first Cardinal to be named Player of the Month since 2005, when kicker Neil Rackers won the award twice (October and November).
