You can see the buzz coming with the 2014 Waste Management Phoenix Open just over a month away from teeing off. Returning once again will be the hometown favorite and defending champion, Phil Mickelson.
To get everyone’s juices flowing with the Open coming up quick, the Thunderbirds held their annual Waste Management Phoenix Open Tee-off Luncheon and this year they honored the valley’s favorite golfer, Mickelson by inducting him into their hall-of-fame. He was honored on Thursday at the Phoenician alongside his presenter, Phoenix sports legend Jerry Colangelo.
