Phoenix to Host 2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four

From the Super Bowl to College Football Playoff games, the Greater Phoenix Area has been host to some of the biggest sporting events over recent years.

That trend continues after Phoenix was selected to host the 2026 Women’s Final Four on Wednesday. It will be the first time the championship has been in the West since 2012 and the first time the city has hosted it.

“We are proud that the NCAA has chosen Phoenix,” Brooke Todare, co-chair of the Phoenix Local Organizing Committee, said in a release. “Hosting major events is in out DNA – and we can’t wait to add the Women’s Final Four to our resume. We thank our stakeholders for their strong support of this successful bid.”

The Women’s Final Four will be held at Talking Stick Resort Arena, home of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury and is scheduled for April 3-5, 2026.

It will be a busy few years for the state. In addition to regular events like the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Cactus League and Fiesta Bowl, Arizona will play host to the 2023 Super Bowl, 2024 Men’s Final Four and 2021 & 2022 Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships and now the 2026 Women’s Final Four.
