Pitching, pitching, pitching.
On the Diamondbacks shopping list in Nashville, General Manager Kevin Towers wants to beef up the team’s starting rotation, without sacrificing some of the team’s good young arms.
“I am not looking for another four or number five, I’d rather give those innings to Corbin, Skaggs or Bauer, if it’s between the mode between Corbin and Kennedy we’d look at that guy, a solid number two,” Towers said earlier tonight from his hotel suite here at the meetings.
What will be interesting to see unfold at these meetings, is how the Diamondbacks go about finding that pitcher, in trade or free agency.
“I’d say the pool is deeper in trade, than free agency,” Towers said.
