After hitting an unthinkable .495 with 14 home runs and 54 RBIs in his junior season, Mitch Nay has separated himself as one of the top baseball players in the state and is the leader of a team that many think, is the favorite to win the state title this season.
The Hamilton third baseman already has committed to play for Coach Esmay at ASU next fall, but based on the amazing output he has had over the last year, plenty of pro scouts are attending his games. Many think that a jump to the pros could be in the immediate future for the slugger.
Pros2preps.com caught up with Nay and asked when baseball became his passion, his commitment to Arizona State and what factors will come into play to whether or not he decides to go pro instead.
