Another class, another week, another Cal commit from Arizona.
This time around it’s Queen Creek safety Hunter Barth, who committed to the Bears on Thursday.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound 2021 prospect holds offers from USC, Iowa State, Duke, Washington State, Arizona, Cal, Utah, Yale, NAU, San Diego State, Pitt, UNLV, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Oregon, Idaho, Boise State, Virginia and Tulane.
As a junior, Barth notched 51 tackles, 2 sacks and an interception. On offense, he caught 21 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns.
This is the 10th Cal commit from Arizona in the last three recruiting cycles. He joins Higley quarterback Kai Millner as Bear commits from this 2021 class.
Barth is also a part of what may be a historic couple of classes for Queen Creek. In addition to the safety, Krew Jackson, offensive lineman Isaia Glass and linebacker Trey Reynolds all hold Power 5 offers this class. Quarterback Devin Brown is also one of the top-rated Arizona quarterback in the class of 2022.
