Arizona Sports News online

Isaia Glass is staying home.

The talented Queen Creek offensive tackle announced on Thursday he has committed to ASU, the Sun Devils’ first public in-state commitment of the 2021 class.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound multi-sport athlete will make Sun Devil football a family affair as his father, Paul Glass, played for the program in 2000.

Glass holds offers from Washington State, Oregon State, NAU, Iowa State, Arizona, Utah State, Fresno State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Utah, UNLV, San Diego State, Hawaii, Army, Nevada, New Mexico, Idaho, Tulane, Colorado, Indiana and ASU.

Glass is now the third Bulldog to commit to a Pac-12 program this year, joining Cal commit Hunter Barth and Utah pledge Trey Reynolds. Safety Krew Jackson also has multiple Pac-12 offers.

The new Sun Devil credits Queen Creek’s community as a big part of helped him get to where he is today. That community has been grieving since the loss of Hunter Vindiola, who died on July 4th in a 4-wheel accident. Glass explains how he will carry his teammate with him for his senior year and beyond:

Glass explains how ASU stood out very quickly, his Queen Creek support system and how he hopes to develop as an offensive lineman in this commitment edition of the Recruiting Roundup.
