If you thought you were done hearing about the ridiculously talented and deep 2019 Arizona high school quarterback class…think again. Let’s introduce you to 6-foot-3, 190-pound North Canyon High signal-called Louis Contreras who is armed and dangerous for a big first full-season with Rattlers.
When Contreras leaves the field this summer, football rarely leaves his mind.
“I’ve been drawing stuff at home, drawing up plays against coverages,” the senior Contreras said to Sports360AZ.com. “New plays that we put in. Looking them up on Hudl and then practicing those plays when we get to the field, too.”
Contreras is also getting attention from college coaches around the country. The word is starting to get out on the Rattler quarterback with a smooth release and a high football ceiling.
“South Dakota State is really pushing for me,” he said. “I’ve talked to UNLV, Nevada and Utah State. NAU and ASU, as well.”
