Merry Christmas Logan Thomas.
According to a report by AZCentralSports.com Kent Somers, the Arizona Cardinals are reversing course and will go with Ryan Lindley at quarterback Sunday in the regular season finale against San Francisco rather than the rookie qb.
Earlier this week Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said he was “leaning towards” starting Thomas against the 49ers.
“We need to find out what he can do for the future and the playoffs, if it were to come to that,” Arians said on Monday.
Lindley was 18-44 for 216 yards and one interception in the Cardinals blowout loss to Seattle.
If the Cardinals win and Seattle were to lose to home to St. Louis, the Cardinals would win the NFC West and could possibly end up with the No. 1 playoff seed.
