As the NFL trade deadline approaches and the Arizona Cardinals sit at 1-6, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports All Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson has requested a trade.
Cardinals’ All Pro CB Patrick Peterson has asked Arizona to deal him by the Oct. 30 trade deadline, per league sources. Peterson feels as if the situation is deteriorating and continues to reaffirm to others that he “desperately” wants out, per source.

The eight-year veteran has 23 career interceptions. He has been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven full seasons and is a three-time All-Pro cornerback.
Head coach Steve Wilks told the media Peterson had not told him he wants a trade.
Wilks said he would talk to Patrick Peterson later today but that the CB has not told him he wants a trade. Could it happen? “We’re not trading Patrick.”
