Hours after reportedly adding a wide receiver to help Kyler Murray, the team also added some offensive line to protect him as well after trading for former Las Vegas Raiders center Rodney Hudson according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
It’s going to be a third-rounder going the #Raiderr for a 7th rounder and Hudson. https://t.co/zWjNPbfXZ8

Hudson is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and considered one of the best at his position.
The Raiders raised eyebrows on Tuesday when there were reports coming out the team was going to cut Hudson. After that news broke, there were multiple reports that plenty of teams were lining up to try to sign the center.
The Cardinals were able to acquire him via trade after those reports, sending over a third round pick for Hudson and a seventh round pick.
The 31-year-old has been consistent as can be in his 10-year career. According to Pro Football Focus, Hudson hasn’t graded below a 71 rating since his rookie year. From 2015-2019, Hudson led the league at the position by allowing a 1% pressure rating.
The Cardinals continue to add through free agency, but the team now is missing third round, fourth round, and sixth round picks. The team currently holds the No. 16, No. 48, No. 160, No. 242, No. 246 picks in this draft.
