First reported by Bruce Feldman and confirmed by The Athletic, it seems Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo will be staying with the Midshipmen and won’t be accepting Arizona’s job offer.

The Navy head coach had an offer in-hand and was returning to talk to his coaching staff and athletic director Chet Gladchuk before making the decision.

Niumatalolo had also turned down a job with BYU in 2015.

Arizona defensive coordinator Marcel Yates, former Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin, Cal offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin, Western Kentucky head coach Mike Sanford and Troy head coach Neil Brown have all been linked to the job throughout the interview process.
