The road to the USL Championship for Phoenix Rising FC will have another stop at their home stadium. Rising FC will host Swope Park this Friday night at 7:30, after the Rangers advanced Saturday night with a 2-1 win over Sacramento Republic FC. Bring on the Western Conference semi-finals for Phoenix Rising FC. Friday night, with a overflow crowd on hand, Rising FC crushed Portland Timbers2 3-0. The combination of beautiful weather and playoff soccer, Rising FC looked like a completely different team than a week earlier when T2 had the positive result. But in the postseason it’s win or go home. Rising FC advances to the semi’s and will take on either Swope Park at home or travel to Sacramento. 
Didier Drogba opened the scoring, followed by goals from Jason Johnson and Solomon Asante.
Carl Woszczynski turned in the clean sheet for Rising FC.
