You need good defense if you’re going to win four straight state championships.
Saguaro’s defense is more than good.
In the first quarter and a half, Saguaro had three interceptions and a fumble recovery, one of those interceptions went back for a touchdown.
The talented Saguaro offense had short fields to work with consistently and the Sabercats cruised to a 56-7 win over Peoria and will play #3 Higley next week at Chaparral.
The Sabercats beat the Knights in the regular season 42-14.
