St. Mary’s was able to win their third straight D1 girls basketball title Saturday in Glendale, but it wasn’t without a good fight put up by Pinnacle, who led by six at the half before falling to the Knights 49-37.
Courtney Ekmark led the way for St. Marys with 14 points. The Pioneers would commit 17 turnovers(25 for the game). Britta Nordstrom led Pinnacle with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
