Salpointe Catholic offensive lineman Bruno Fina has been a versatile part of the Lancers’ offense, playing guard, tackle and tight end.
He saw a flood of offers come his way in April, with USC, UCLA, Arizona, Yale, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, Boston College, ASU, Washington State and Nevada all extending offers in the span of six week.
Fina released a top-three of UCLA, Boston College and Yale last week. On Wednesday, he committed to the Bruins.

“Bruno is everything a coach wants. All his best qualities will transfer to college immediately,” Salpointe Catholic head coach Dennis Bene said. “His foundation is as good as it gets and he has the discipline and commitment to be outstanding. He is now, and will continue to be, very prepared at the next level.”
He joined Sports360AZ by Skype to talk about why he chose the Bruins, his relationship with offensive line coach Justin Frye and getting to go through this recruiting process with his father.
