Foles is widely considered the top quarterback in program history and still holds school records in several statistical categories including career passing yards (10,011) and total offense (9,712), as well as single-season records in total yards (4,231) and passing yards (4,334).
“I am so proud to be an Arizona Wildcat,” he said to Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat in a recent phone interview. “I wouldn’t be here without Arizona…without my time at UofA. I learned so much about life, I learned so much about sports, about teamwork, about community.”

Foles, who said he wore UofA gear “behind the scenes” during the time leading up to the Super Bowl, also met his now-wife Tori in Tucson. She was a volleyball player during Foles’ three seasons (four years total following a redshirt in 2008) after transferring in after playing his freshman year at Michigan State.

“We bleed red and blue, we love the University of Arizona,” Foles explained. “I’m thankful for all my coaches there. Being in that Arizona heat, growing in that Arizona heat…I’ll always be a Wildcat and I’ll always be super proud of that university.”
Earlier this spring Foles and the Eagles reached a one-year agreement with a mutual option for 2019.
He graduated from Arizona with a degree in communications and is currently taking on-line graduate classes at Liberty University in hopes of becoming a pastor in a high school following his football playing career.
