Rich Rodriguez is the Pac-12’s renaissance man.
The coach of the defending Pac-12 South champion Arizona Wildcats can coach and recruit with the best of them but also has found himself in the lead role of the football team’s “Hard Edge” videos where he is the a grizzled cowboy leading a crew of players and coaches who look ready to throw down at the OK Corral.
Rodriguez traded in his boots and spurs for a tux in this year’s James Bond themed promo video, “Licence to Thrill”. He dances, he has the Territorial Cup in hand, he swings from a rope, and he cruises around Tucson in a Ferrari…ya know, secret agent stuff. Wildcats quarterback Anu Solomon and linebacker Phillip (wait..no, Scooby) Wright III also make notable appearances as members of Rich Rod’s super agent posse. Scooby behind the scenes was enjoying every minute of those rides they were able to use in this video…
