Seton Catholic advanced to the next round of the playoffs after a close win against Catalina Foothills in the first round on Friday. The Sentinels held a 14-0 lead at the half, but the Falcons surged back to put themselves ahead 22-21 with under a minute left in the game. With urgency, Seton Catholic powered down the field to score and went for two to put them up 29-22 with 20 seconds to play. The Falcons gave a push down the field, but the Sentinels held on to see another week of their season. They’ll take on Higley next Friday.
