The Shadow Mountain backcourt will feature two guards who are headed to Arizona colleges.
On Sunday, Jovan Blacksher Jr. committed to GCU, joining fellow 2019 guard Jaelen House, who is committed to Arizona State University.
First off Iβd like to thank all the coaches that have recruited me, trainers, friends, family and everyone that has been part of this recruiting process. After much thought I am happy to announce that I have committed to Grand Canyon University. #LOPESUPP ππ€πΎπ #thagroove pic.twitter.com/1VCLENCm9c

Blacksher is coming off a state championship junior season where he averaged 16 points and nearly six assists per game. He has been a part of three state championship teams with the Matadors.
Blacksher will also join former Shadow Mountain guard J.J. Rhymes, who signed with the Lopes this past recruiting class after spending two years at the junior college level.
