Bobby Hurley has done a very good job in turning around Arizona State basketball. Credit ASU for building a financial barrier between Hurley and schools that would want to make a run at the current Sun Devil head coach.

Hurley signed a contract extension in 2018, which included a clause in which Hurley MAY be required to pay Arizona State $2.5 million dollars if he ended the contract to take a pro of college head coaching job.
