Cooler weather, away from home and a famous dirt hill that is near and dear to head coach Jeremy Hathcock’s heart, the Desert Ridge Jaguars geared up for a much anticipated 2015 campaign in Winslow, Arizona this week.
More known for a pound the rock, running team in the past, Desert Ridge will look a little different in 2015 as Coach Hathcock will look to spread things out a little more to fit a great core of athletes the team will line up on the outside this season. Plus they have one of the most intriguing quarterback competitions in the state which got underway at fall camp as seniors Tate Shumway and Dylan Wright and junior C.J. Fowler all have the ability to start.
