Stomped! Rising FC Blanks San Antonio

Two matches in four nights, is always a challenge. Wednesday night Rising FC more than answered the bell. The 4-0 destruction of San Antonio was another brick in the wall towards the postseason. I watched the broadcast of the match from my office. What struck me was the back line of Rising FC. I know this team can score, but the old saying “defense wins championships” applies in any sport.

You also have to look at the change in goal this past week. Zach Lubin has put up two shut-outs in a row. Hard to sit someone down when that happens. Competition and depth late in the season at any position  is a good problem to have.

Saturday night against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC it’s Diplo Bobblehead Night. The first 2,500 fans who enter will receive a Diplo bobblehead that plays the club’s goal song.
